Voluntary/Community Sector (VCS) Health and Social Care Event
3rd March 2010
In March 2010 RAISE will be holding a regional event to explore the priorities facing VCS health and social care providers across the region. This will both build upon the previous health event hosted by the RSCP in June, and the key issues identified by RAISE's VCS Health and Social Care network. Some of these priorities include:- the Personalisation Agenda, Funding and Commissioning, Health Inequalities and Developing Local Partnership Working.

Intelligent Commissioning Seminars
February/March 2010
A series of regional seminars looking at good practice in commissioning will be held during February and March 2010. The seminars will be delivered jointly by NAVCA (National Association for Voluntary and Community Action) and RAISE and will look at how the principles of 'intelligent commissioning' have been put into practice, using examples from local practice across the South East. Delegates will also explore the role that the local third sector can play in influencing local commissioning practices.

Third Sector Engagement with Local Strategic Partnerships
23rd February 2010
RAISE, Government Office for the South East and
the South East Regional Strategic Cross-sector Partnership are pleased to be
hosting a one-day regional conference on third sector engagement with Local
Strategic Partnerships (LSPs).
This event will provide an opportunity for the third sector to learn more about how they can better engage with their local partnership framework. The day will consist of speakers and workshops in the morning and a Knowledge Cafe session in the afternoon.

New Network for third sector Chief Executives
March 2010
RAISE are looking to establish a new network for Chief Executives from within third sector support organisations in the South East. The aim of this network is to be able to provide a forum for peer learning on key issues that are facing the sector. Key note speakers and thematic workshops will be incorporated into seasonal events commencing in March 2010.
